Holidays on the horizon inspired home cooks to look for Easter and St. Patrick’s Day recipes, along with the mix-up of donut muffins, and tried-and-true faithfuls: goulash and ground turkey. The fastest-growing week-over-week search term driving traffic to the site last week was Easter dinner ideas. Other fast-growing search terms driving traffic to the site included ground turkey recipe, corn salad, cloud bread, and Irish desserts.
The fastest growing internal search terms week over week were classic goulash, garlic shrimp, donut muffins, St. Patrick’s Day, and honey cake.
Top 10 Year-Over-Year Keywords
Dinner recipes were top-of-mind for home cooks both this year and last during the first week of March. This year, however, pork chops outranked chicken and searches from easy lasagna climbed. Banana bread was also in the top 10 search term mix, once again proving its perennial popularity.
