The list reveals that America has a serious sweet tooth, and craved orange-colored comfort foods over the past year. In fact, sweet potato is on the list twice and pumpkin makes into the top 10 three times!

The combined stats of these 10 recipes alone include more than 10 million page views from home cooks, nearly 353,000 recipe box saves, 86,000 social shares, and an average rating of 4.78 stars out of 5.
Nine of the 10 recipes are very or slightly orange, a color proven to stimulate the appetite. Perhaps the photos of these orange dishes resonate well with cooks because subconsciously they feel the most hungry when looking at orange foods?
